Default Touring in Wales......any advice about routes/guides books?

I am planning on doing a 2 week cycle tour (with my sis). We are both cycling novices, although I am familiar with maps, hiking, camping, etc.

I am trying to decide about which routes would be best for beginners, in Wales, and which are the most beautiful areas, in terms of landscape and scenery.

I've recently bought the Ordnance Survey - Cycle Tours - NORTH WALES as well as the Lonely Planet to Wales, just so that I can get an idea about what the area is like, but I would like to know if anyone has toured around the whole of Wales and can recommend a particular area.

Can anyone also recommend a really good route guide that provides maps and good descriptions about what the landscape is like?
