Can anybody give me any idea as to what it means if a race has a UCI category of, say 1.8, or 2.1.
I understand it may indicate the level of difficulty of the race, but what specifically? Does it relate to points on offer, on what is rated more difficult, a 2.1 category race, or a 2.5 category. Finally, what would the TDF be categorized as, I would imagine this have the highest rating of all races. Perhaps there is a website which contains all these answers? Thanks all |
