Angry arrrgghhh

I haven't a clue why or where this messenger biker came from on Monday, but while I was making a turn, he nailed my rear tire taking me and my bike out. I would think people would have common sense, especially on a fixed gear bike...like not tailing someone if you KNOW YOU CAN'T STOP IN TIME... but i guess the same goes for drivers who insist on tailgating too. He even admitted it was his fault after we started talking about it. No way he was trying to pass me on the left as i was hugging the sidewalk to avoid cars while slowing down.

In anycase, I have some nice roadrash on my leg and several cuts elsewhere. bastards!

the helmet companies hire these idiots to ride around and cause accidents, they are very prevalent in california, most especially dangerous are the ones on 5 thousand dollar bikes that have not yet learned to ride in a straight line, I talked to one of them and they said they are paid on a per crash basis and get crash and a half pay if the accident occurs in a group of three or more riders.

I'm not sure about Helmet companies, but it could be the troll that tries to sell us everything from batteries to cameras. The guy must sell bike parts somewhere in the world.

maybe its the companys that manufacture gauze and antiseptic ointment.
It could also be one if the large fitness center chains hoping it will cause us to switch to spinning classes instead of riding on the road where no one can charge outrageous fees for engaging in physical activity.
actually, this kind of tactic seems right down the oil companys alley.

sorry to make light of your misfortune acciaio, sometimes all you can do about these idiots is laugh.
