Default Merida Bike Quality

Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing a Merida S5 road bike and would like to know if anyone has any opinions or experience with it. Specs are listed below and I can buy it for about $1500 AU. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Known brand, East Asian quality, not as well advertised as Giant.
