22 year old guy wanting to have sex with 16 year old girl
Hey. Long time reader, first time poster.
I found this in a fitness forum. A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? thats horrible, I'm not saying its all his fault, she shouldn't be hitting on a 22 year old perv. but a guy like that should be locked up for a while, and the girl should talk to her parents, or the parents talk to her.

Without knowing more about the two you cannot say. The guy might be a perv, but the girl may have been screwing boys since she was twelve. The world is fucked up these days. A lot of the traditional mores of the past are hard to apply to the present. Since the age difference is not too huge, I guess I don't have much of an opinion about this.

Just say they stay together for the next three years, she would be 19 and he would be 25 - would it be a problem then - I don't think so.
You are allowed to "do it" when your 16, and let's face it 22 isn't very old either. |

hey...im 25 and date an 18 year old...and if ya knew us you would think we were both about 12 LOL.
but, I didnt even know her before she was 18....that might make a difference, i wouldnt be hanging out with any 16 year olds. yuck. depending on the state, that guy might be able to do as he pleases... |

yes, do not forget the popularity of violence as well, which is even more condoned and far less censored by the entertainment media industry.
perhaps this forum should be renamed the 'bloody podium girls box' in the interest of spurring more involvement... seriously, let us remeber the time honored gentlemen-about-town rule, keep your amorous relations to half your age plus seven. note this allows gents to escort younger women as age is aquired. seems like the bloke in question lost sight of the legalities involved with consorting with minors, big consequences can come of this, including legalities including statutory rape and sex offender registry status to name just a couple.
