A lot of people waste time arguing whether a certain activity is a sport, or not.
I realize this will never stop but, it's just one of my pet peeves. According to popular dictionaries, mosts activities which claim to be a sport actually are. However, the English language has words to differentiate between different sports so we know the difference between one sport and another. Some of these words are: basketball, cycling, tennis, auto racing, curling, soccer, etc, etc. I don't condone PEDS, and consider this "tongue in cheek", but to take the definition of the word "sport" to the whacked out degree, consider this; Sport also can mean mutation and mockery so, really, dopers are sportsman in the truest sense of the WORD. just kiddin around. But really now: "What are words for? When noone listens, anymore." If U watch this video, try not to SPORT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNU_wyQbAv4 |
