There's usually a critical mass ride that meets consistently in Costa Mesa about once a month. Fixed gears are real huge around here right now. There's a core group of those hipster fixies around here if you're into that crowd that wears the jeans that are three sizes too tight. PM me if you want me to follow up with some more info.
