help on buying a bike
hi
i want i bike that i can use for dirt jumping aswell as downhill or crosscountry. however it needs to be under 400 pound. thanks  |

Hey, if your after a good steady bike, which is good on road/downhill/uphill/ and loves rough terrain, personally, i recomend the Specialized Hardrock serieis.
(sorry for this post, i'm hoping it's not against the forum rules posting to other places) but, a 2007 serieis with hyd breaks can be found http://www.bikescene.co.uk/moreinfo...tion=922&sale=0 and, you can also get a sports disk break one... http://www.bikescene.co.uk/moreinfo...tion=923&sale=0 which is the one i have, and i've found it to be a very solid, well built bike. only problem i could say, is on road, it has 2.1 inch wide tyres, with very good grip, so on road you struggle to get past 35mph downhill, and average 20mph on flat road ide say. |
