Starting my 3rd season of racing, getting ready to cat up to 3's. Going to get a power tap soon as well as cyclingpeaks WKO+. This past season I tracked my training by making a binder of copied pages out of the training bible, and hate dealing with all the paper. I don't have enough money to get a coach. My question is, I have just started using the polarpersonaltrainer, which is free. I can create a schedule and track features such as HR, speed, avg. sp. cad, time, dist. etc... but nothing with power. I was going to purchase virtual coach from TrainingPeaks to set up training plans and track progress, but cannot figure out if it is worth the money. Should I continue to use the polar site for free, or should I buy the trainingpeaks program (virtualcoach)?
Opinions appreciated. Thanx |
