The beauty of the Giro can be found in a lot of things – it’s the first Grand Tour of the year so we’re primed for some big racing action; the geography and countryside is arguably the prettiest in all of cycling, making for three weeks of incredibly picturesque stages; and the Italians love to throw in some of the twists that no other race – or Grand Tour – could.
