"Cut and run" is a term normally used by conservatives to describe liberals, but this derogatory description can be applied to the policies of pro cycling sponsors. T-Mobile has just declared that it will renegotiate its sponsorship agreement to allow the company to leave the sport in the wake of doping scandals surrounding its team.
