Post Eighteen Americans Set for Second Round of UCI Track World Cup

Eighteen Americans are set to compete in the andldquo;Good Luck Beijingandrdquo; 2007-08 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Classic in Beijing, China this weekend, Dec. 7-9. The World Cup in Beijing is the second of four UCI Track World Cup Classics. The race will also serve as the official Olympic Test Event and is being held on the Olympic track in west Beijingandrsquo;s Laoshan Velodrome. The U.S. National Team and five American UCI-sanctioned professional track teams are among the 44 nations and 69 total teams set to compete in the seasonandrsquo;s second major international event that factors into Olympic qualification.
