Will riders try to maintain peak through the Tour and the Olympics?
It seems like the Giro riders (Italians) have it nice. They can peak for the Giro, take a break, and peak again for the Olympics. If you are Cancellara what do you do?

yeah, they can do it, they just stash away a heap of blood, and either focus on the rr, or their tt threshold. |

And that goes for Cancellara too. I wouldn't say he's worried about the Tour... He can skip it, he can ride it till mountains, check himself in that firs TT, use flat stages for good training. I think he's more worried about maintaining the form between Olympic games and World championship. Almost impossible.

Good that the medals of these major events will be shared by more riders.
