Default Fausto Coppi...

On 2 January it was the 48th anniversary of Fausto Coppi's death.

Thought a reminder about the campionissimo was in order.

Sandrino Carrea, now in his 80s, and probably his most famous gregario, still visits the tomb on the anniversary every year. Little blurb on the gazzetta website for the Italian speakers here. One of the many Italian websites (this one with a bit of English) on Fausto here.

N.B. I am not associated with either website in any way, thought it would be nice to start a new thread about cycling history and bump down the spam threads.
