Default UCI announce 7000 OoC tests !

There was just 1000 next year and some riders caught... I hope that the vast majority (6000)of its will be done on Pro Tour Team
The pressure would be stronger!
With around 300 or 400 PTT riders, every riders coulb be tested at least 10 times in a year.
Without leak to team, that could very efficient, especilally if they would add GC IRMS test without the screening test.

That’s great ! A fax was sent to each team on where and when each tester will turn up for calendar year 2008..... there is also a caveat that in the event you are unable to submit a test your dog can proxy on your behalf.... so I guess this blows out Armstrong’s “most tested man in sports” soundbyte ?

They should do random IRMS testing on some of the samples. They don't need to test every sample; that would be too expensive. The riders should be put in a position where they know that any sample may or may not be tested with IRMS. Aside from randomly using IRMS, they should also use it at times where testosterone use is probably, like GT contenders between consecutive mountain stages of GTs.

This bio passport testing still is not as good as Slipstream's program. With one test per week, a ProTour team of 25 riders using Slipstream's schedule would tally 1000 tests for just one team. That would be 18,000 for the ProTour teams.
