My $50 Subway offer bike arrived last week... Whoooppeeee!
It is still in its box because I had another back operation on 13th December and can't ride it anyway... Sob! Sob! Might put it together next week, then at least I can admire its mechanical beauty. Bugger it, I might put it together tomorrow. (As long as I can get one of my kids to carry the box out of the garage.) Regards Harold Tantum religio potuit suadere malorum - Lucretius |

I was starting to wonder if it was goign to turn up at all? ;-) > It is still in its box because I had another back operation on 13th > December and can't ride it anyway... Sob! Sob! Bugger! Hope it wasn't a spinal fusion, I've never known anyone who had one of those who recovered to anywhere near their pre-op standard. :-/ > Might put it together next week, then at least I can admire its > mechanical beauty. > > Bugger it, I might put it together tomorrow. Fusion is a future step but I am 60 now so maybe the discs will outlive me. My fisrt wife had a couple of vertibrae fused in the late 1940s after contacting TB in her spine but she is still kicking on. Regards Harold Tantum religio potuit suadere malorum - Lucretius |
