my safe riding tip, for the readers benefit (from my experience)
no#1 if you face a BIG intersection eg a highway , or one of those stupid intersections | | | | | | ---------- | T | ---------- | | | | | | | *| | ------------ where the light is at the (*) and you ride (eg. uphill, and against a headwind) the light(*) can go orange as you pass, and you can get HIT BY A CAR at T my advice - at these long intersections, just slow down as you aproach, if it has been green for a while just stop! and wait. sometimes it may be necessary to stop at a traffic island, and wait. be safe! ps i nearly got run over once. |
