I've created a new web page: http://cbchamber.angelfire.com/biking.html for our Bike Ride - February 23, 2008.
Cochran, Ga. is located 50 miles south of Macon, Ga. It is a rural community - not much heavy traffic. Come share the less traveled roads of a rural community. The Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring its third annual family-oriented bicycle ride through Southern Country Roads of Bleckley and surrounding counties; perfect for families and new cyclists, as well as experienced riders. Once again a 15, 30, 50 and 62 mile route will be available. All routes are supported with maps, SAGS and refreshment breaks. A $20 pre-registration through February 14 includes a Biking Bleckley long sleeve T-shirt; late registration of $25 does not guarantee T-shirt. All fees are non-refundable. Ride begins at the Parking Lot of the Chamber of Commerce. * All roads are in very good shape and are flat to moderate rolling hills. The Metric 100 is a big loop with the other routes branching off and heading back to the start. For more information, contact the Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce at 478-934-2965 or email: cbchamber@comsouth.net; bikingbleckleycycleclub@hotmail.com; or register online at www.active.com |
