It is really amazing how heartless some motorists are. A Spanish businessman killed a boy who was cycling, and wanted to sue the boy's family for 20,000 Euros for the damage sustained to his Audi, and to cover rental car costs!!! What a jerk! He did withdraw the lawsuit today, but still... I hope the prosecution will be able to nail this dude on some criminal charge.

I can see how he would run into the boy if it was dark and the boy had no rear lighting or wore dark clothes. - This also happened in Houston and they didn't blame the driver, - it was the victims fault. But I think this busnessman was at fault for speeding. Lots a asshole drivers in this world.

This happened in 2004, and he finally withdrew his suit. The kicker is, he was
speeding, killed a kid, and still had the gall to insult the childs family by suing for damages to his Audi. What an A hole. |
