I usually eat pastries with low calorie Soy Milk every morning, and I usually like cookies and cakes! But I discovered those premade cookie doughs like Pillbury and Nestle Toll House taste pretty good when fresh baked! - As good as or even better than those expensive Mrs Field's cookies at the mall! But I'm too impatient in the morning to wait for baked cookies - so I tried microwaving these cookie batters and it worked! They taste just as good as baked cookies but don't have the crispness. The Toll House cookies microwave better than the Pillsbury ones. And then I tried Cinnamon rolls - Pillsbury Grands Flaky Supreme with Cinnabon Cinamon - "bakes" good in the microwave too! Well, the next step is to try microwaving cake batter for a cake! - Anyone try this yet? You all can volunteer here! Tell me how it goes!
Electricity is so expensive here in Texas so I don't want to use inefficient electric baking. I don't have a gas stove... And toaster ovens are too slow with 15 minute bake times vs 2 minutes for microwave cookies! |

It's food calorie budgeting. Eat something low calorie then you can splurge on something else.
Hey Eden - do you think I'm pretty!? |

Something tells me Pillsbury Cinnabons probably put you over the top on all the bad stuff...... don't know about the grocery store variety but one of the regular ones has over 700 calories and about 1/3 of the fat you should eat in a day.... and they are full of trans fats which are bad for you in any quantities. If you eat something like that every morning rather than occasionally its never good. My mother in law thinks like you. If she's good about what she eats most of the time, then that bowl of ice cream or some other goodie is OK right..... She had to have a quadruple bypass last year... thing is most people tend to underestimate what they eat. Its like expecting a rebate check or something. Most people tend to spend money that they are expecting more than once.... they spend it before they get it, then when it comes it feels like they are getting it all over again, so they spend it twice... Your beauty? if you were a bike (in your avatar) I could tell you, but as I haven't seen a photo I couldn't judge that. Last edited by Eden : 09-06.-2008 at 05:35 AM. |

Oh, I don't eat those Cinnabons all the time, just rarely but they're good and way cheaper than the mall Cinnabon store stuff. I posted pics of me in drag here - http://www.cyclingforums.com/t-463961-15-2.html |
