Default Sheldon Brown RIP

One of the all time greats of the bicycling community has died. Surely
everyone here, at one time or another, has found great value in Sheldon
Brown's many wise and witty contributions to the bicycling community.

Sheldon's Gone! So sorry to hear it--words are inadequate to portray
his bicycle-centric persona. We'll miss him.

Wow...That's sad news -- as I feel as if I knew Sheldon personally. His web
pages and his personal e-mails were precious to me during the years I ran my
bicycle recycling program. We have certainly lost an outstanding resource
and a great friend to bicycling. I am grateful that the Internet enabled
Sheldon to share his knowledge with all of us and I send my sincere sympathy
(and thanks) to his family.

Yea, that's terrible!

I visited Harris Cyclery a few years back.

Cycling has lost a great!

What a loss... he can't be replaced. His web advice, and when I spoke to
him , personal advice,
are like .. I can't put it into words.

I think I read every page of his web site.

This is a sad day for me..

Thanks for posting the info.
