Default Team High Road now American

The ProTour has changed the team to American. Does this have any implications for Slipstream getting ProTour status. Of course, by next season the ProTour probably won't be worth anything.

I think it may have even been registered, at least High Road Sports was, last year.

As long as Stapelton is gonna make his riders ride clean, I am ok with that.

But I think, besides Stapelton's previous business links, that Slipstream is a more attractive prospect for the US corporates at the moment.

The ProTour council recently agreed to change the team's nationality.

It looks like one more blow against german cycling.

and it is not looking good for Gerolsteiner.

And Milram is more Italian than German.

and no Wiesonhof this year either. Anyone know where Olaf Pollack went?

German cycling sure went down the drain last year. Races disappear, teams go away, sponsors flee, TV suspends reporting mid-race, half of the German top cyclists are banned because of doping. I think I've never seen an implosion of a sport on such a scale.

Oh yes, and Zabel will retire this year.
