Default No TDF for Contador ?

For the moment Prudhomme is kind with Contador saying that he is out of OP but...can he say " we still have some doubts with Contadope" without sullying the last TDF?

I think ASO will push out Astana because of the bad reputation of other riders... preserving the "reputation" of 2007 TDF!

Astana will fold if that happens.

The Paris Nice invitations come out soon. It will be interesting if Astana is invited.

Yup. That will tell us which way ASO is leaning.

Velonews is running this piece: http://velonews.com/article/71810

I have to think Tailwind had some idea this was coming.

Interesting. But you have to figure that JB and the gang have been thinking this through overtime since the Giro exclusion. I think they will fall back to the Vuelta option. Given the track record of the Spanish Federation on protecting their own riders, I believe that Contador will be welcomed there.
