Hi Everyone
I am a total fitness freak, and want to get into road biking. Maybe sometime down the road, i will think about racing. I'm mainly sreet along the beach area where i live, and would like to start riding 2-3 days out of the week, and i like to go pretty fast. I'm 6'4" at 210lbs, and my budget is around $400 tops. I'm looking for either new or used as a entry bike Thanks Last edited by mvp805 : 15-02.-2008 at 06:09 AM. |

At that price point for a new bike, check out the "Sora" level bikes here:

At the $400 price point I would look used. Buying a bike with Sora is ok, but typically you would want at least a Shimano 105 equipped bike. Look to the big manufacturers for quality bikes and check on ebay, there are some great deals to be had. Just remember if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. |
