Hi all. First post, so please go easy
A few years ago I bought a full suspension diamondback bike after being off the saddle for a while. I use it mainly at weekends for general fitness riding and it was purchased almost completely based on nostalgia, having owned a couple of diamondback bmx's in my younger days. Thing is, I think it is completely unsuited to my present needs. I cycle mainly on road, with very occasional light dirt track use. Granted, the suspension is very handy sometimes as the kerbside road around here is pretty poor and often takes me by surprise. So, I'm looking at getting something a bit more suitable. Presently considering the Scott Sportster P2 (or P45) or Marin Lucas Valley. Anyone got any advice or experiences with either of these bikes, or suggest an alternative in the same price bracket? http://www.marin.co.uk/2008/bikedetail.php?ModNo=3861 http://scottusa.com/product/74/681/sportster_p2 http://scottusa.com/product/74/694/sportster_p45 Any thoughts gratefully received.
