I got a brand new Mars 3.0 Light as part of the Blackburn Quadrant Mars 3.0 Combo and the Mars doesn't work. I tried it with the batteries that came with it and another pair I had.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some way to troubleshoot it or some special way to get it to work I don't know about? |

I have no experience with this model, but I'd say that if you bought it new as part of a set, I'd return the entire set and get a new one. If you start tinkering with it you may end up damaging it. At that point you're out of luck on a return.
It may just be me, but it seems as though the general quality of electronic devices has been going downhill of late. Good luck! Scott

Pardon the obvious question: are the batteries correctly oriented?
