Default Giant, LeMond, or Trek?

OK, I have found three bikes I am considering:

Giant OCR 3, LeMond Etape, or Trek 1.2

Which of these would you suggest is the better bike, the prices are all very similar so that is not an issue.

Test ride them and figure out first what fits best and secondly which you like the feel of. An open question to an internet forum of three good bikes will get a lot of opionated replies from folks that have chosen one of those bikes and loves it. You won't get an objective answer from a poll like that and just because someone else likes a particular frame doesn't mean you will.

FWIW, the bike market is pretty competitive these days. Among other things that means that three similarly priced bikes tend to be built with similar quality and similar components. Sure there's exceptions and a few good bargains out there but usually not too many in the big name brands. It really pays to ride a high end bike before you buy it, some of the "best" bikes are geared towards certain types of riding and racing that may or may not appeal to you.

Good luck,
-Dave

I got a Giant OCR 3 but it was very close to the Trek, for me it just come down to the test ride, the Giant just fit me a bit better.

I love the bike now, definately a worthwile upgrade from my old mountain bike
