Hi guys,
there is a bring-out-your-dead in Dianella at the moment. On The Strand, about 50m east of the intersection with Surrey, there is a park and on the verge is a child's seat, the kind that clamps to your bike rather than attaching to the hub. I had one like this once but I lost the clamp. Looks like good nick, bit of surface rust nothing worse. |

If anyone in or near Canberra wants one of these, I have a pair of them hanging up in my shed. Which is kind of funny, considering that I have no children and a vasectomy. BTH |

Hmmm, but you never know.... My kids too old (just), otherwise I'd be at your front door. Tomasso. PS: Too old means "have their own bikes". |

I'll find out if they're still interested and get back to you some time. > Which is kind of funny, considering that I have no children and a > vasectomy. .... and wear condoms? To be sure, to be sure, to be sure! :-) |

Do you know the brand name of them? Perhaps I can get my friends to research them to see if it's the sort of thing they really want. Cheers. Bean |

They were the type with a substantial framework attaching them to the bike though, not just a clamp to the seatpost. Would they be more inclined to gratefully accept them if you mention that they're free/gratis/no payment required? ;-) BTH |
