Exclamation Cyclist Killed

There is no words which can be used to describe this, its bloody disgusting!

"wo women have been arrested over the murder of a female cyclist who died as a result of a "vicious and brutal" stabbing.

The victim was attacked in the Anfield area of Liverpool on Friday night after getting into an argument with the occupants of a car, Merseyside Police said.

The attackers drove off after the incident. But officers executed warrants at three addresses in the Anfield area, arresting a 25-year-old woman and 48-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.

The incident took place at around 8.30pm on Woodville Terrace.

Police believe the victim was cycling down nearby Whitefield Road when a small, dark car driven by a man with two female passengers pulled up alongside her. Witnesses reported hearing an argument between the three women, and the victim then tried to ride off.

She turned into Woodville Terrace but the car followed her, the two women got out at which point the victim was assaulted and stabbed. The attackers got back into the car and drove off.

Ambulance crews attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene."

My thoughts go out to the family and relatives and i only hope that our (british) government will punish the attackers to the fullest extent possible!

The way the article is written, it looks like it was a result of a tiff between the three women, and has little to do with the fact that the woman was cycling while the other two were driving.

It may have been, but what right does that warrant to take another life, and if the cyclist tried to leave/cycle away and she still got stabbed and killed it makes it look more like a planned attack, and the cyclist hadn't done anything to provoke the situation.

You completely missed my point. The title of you thread suggests that somebody killed a cyclist because of their hatred of cycling/cyclists.

My bad, sorry

Not my day to day. I didn't mean it like that, i know it sounds like that, but it wasn't meant to be worded in such a way.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, doubt i would have realised
