Remember Boonen was quick to call out Rasmussen and Vinokourov last year after they were taken out of the TDF? He said that Rasmussen was "not a clean rider" and that "Vino is a dirty cheat who they ought to suspend for his lifetime".
But what about his loyal teammate Hulsmans who ran away from the anti-doping escort? Posteddocument.write(''+ myTimeZone('Mon, 25 Feb 2008 07:40:32 GMT-0800', '25 February 2008 07:40 AM')+''); 25 February 2008 07:40 AM 25 February 2008 07:40 AMHide PostI am the "overzealous" anti-doping escort. For the record: I did not enter the shower and I did not see anyone shower. I was instructed to enter the team bus if the rider did not want to go straight to anti doping. Kevin Hulsman took off on his bike after I indentified myself from being from Anti-Doping which he was not supposed to do. He was out of my sight for about 7 mins. When I entered the team bus he was in the shower and I waited for him in the main part of the camper. Some of the riders chose to cover themselves up with a towel and others paraded themselves in front of me undressed. If they were so concerned about a woman being in their presence why wouldn't they cover themselves up? Only one person could take a shower at the same time so they were waiting around for their turn in the shower. In addition, I was treated disrepectfully by the team doctor and there were comments made about "b***j**s" by a couple of the riders. I was only following the instructions given to me. The following day I was assigned to David Millar and David and the Slipstream management were nothing but polite and cooperative. The QuickStep team was obnoxious and this story is not being conveyed truthfully.http://forums.bicycling.com/eve/for...17/m/2281060434 |
