I am getting ready to get some new wheels for racing only...
might try a different strategy as my last 'boutique' wheelset ended in tears (cracked mavic krysiums-ouch) Im a borderline clydesdale so want durability/aero/reliability what would be a good combination of parts to hand over to a good wheelbuilder...( yes I do have the man to do the job) any wheel gurus out there listening!!!!????? |

how much money do you have to spend... and what is your weight. What is your balance between aero/durability? Mavic Krysiums are hardly boutique though.

Describe you and your riding needs. shimano or Campagnolo? Tubular or clincher? Big $? DT, shimano, Campag hubs. Velocity, Mavic or DT rims, DT or Sapim spokes, designed well. If ya 'got a man to do the job', what does he say? |
