Default Selling a groupset on eBay??

I might soon have a full group to sell on eBay, and was wondering if it's best to sell the entire thing together, or break it up into individual listings. Any thoughts from people who have experience?

Thanks

Most people recommend selling the parts individually.

Depends if you want to get rid of the groupset relatively quickly and all in one batch.

You will make more money selling it piece by piece, but will also get to spend more quality time packaging the bits and standing in line at the post office...

You increase your customer base by selling parts.

If selling the entire group you require a customer that wants:

The correct crank length, double/triple/compact gears
AND BB width style
AND band/bolt on FD
AND RD cage length
AND cassette ratios
AND double/triple shifters

There would be a lot more customers who only want a crank, or want your spec crank but something different with the other parts.

Unless you have it all in a never opened retail box I'd be selling parts.

More customers=more people bidding=higher final price/asking price

Depends on the group..if it's a modern one, probably together. If it's, say a 1983 Super Record or 1989 C-Record group, probably as individual items.
