I am in the market for a new wheelet and have narrowed the search to a couple of carbon semi-aero wheelsets (~40 mm deep). The brands I am looking at; Zipp, Reynolds both offer a 16 front/20 rear spoke OR a 20 front/24 rear model.
I weigh 165 and live in So Cal (roads are decent) and am planning on using these wheels as my everyday wheel. Also, I am mostly a spinner and prefer using higher cadence than pure power. My question is whether the 16/20 versions would be sufficient with my weight. Any help would be appreciated. |
