The brands I am looking at; Zipp, Reynolds both offer a 16 front/20 rear spoke OR a 20 front/24 rear model. I weigh 165 and live in So Cal (roads are decent) and am planning on using these wheels as my everyday wheel. Also, I am mostly a spinner and prefer using higher cadence than pure power. My question is whether the 16/20 versions would be sufficient with my weight. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have those specific wheels, but my wheels have the same number of spokes. 16/20. I live in socal too and i weigh about 175....you'll be fine. It says on the Zipp website the wheels are not recommended for people over 200 lbs.
