They should have used "safety" instead of "security". It's not like they are fearing some sort of attack, right?

This route looks much more uglier now. It means that riders will have to climb above 2500m for three consecutive stages. I don't think something like that have happened in recent GT history. Before Col d'Agnel there is an early slopes of Izoard as well.

In french, sécurité can be used for the 2 cases, so the translator has fallen in the trap.

This could make the race very different, the new Col is massively harder than the old one... People where saying before it was a good parcour for the climbers, now it's even better so perhaps little chance for Evans to win this year?
