No snow here, just rain and 40 degree variations in temperature from day to day. I try to get out and ride on the good days but the company that I work for is overworked and understaffed so I have been working a lot too. This situation is taking a toll on my mileage log, but at least I'm saving ink.

It was 90 today, and the forecast calls for 95 tomorrow. I thought I saw a cloud on my ride today, but it ended up just being a smudge on my glasses from the sweat dripping off my head.

Finally I can challenge Alienator. Beautiful day here, 95km ride on Saturday and very large lunch on Sunday. Perfect weekend.

60 km ride this evening after work in 16~18 centigrade weather, cloudy and a bit windy. Cold for us southern Europeans... so I wear my light long sleeve jacket with my bib shorts.

It actually snowed a bit here. I still had sweat dripping off my head. Crazy mixed up weather.
Funny thing, Rome is about as far north of the equator as Chicago. I think we got a little gyped.

Fiiiiinally spring is here, and I'm thousands of kilometers behind all you guys. The
trails are muddy, and the roads are in terrible shape. Oh well, still better than cycling a hundred years ago, I think. |
