Question Pain on right side below rib cage

]ust got back on my road bike last weekend for the first time this season ....rode 18 miles day 1, 28 miles day 2........got what appears to be a side stitch on day 1. Rode through it on day 2. Still with me today(Wednesday) only hurts when I breathe deeply or to the touch.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,

SpokeGal

Could be a muscle injury caused by your position on the bike. Have you had anything like this when riding longer distances in the past, or have you modified the bike at all recently (seat or handlebar position etc.)?

I'd take some Ibuprofen or aspirin which should help with pain and possible inflammation. If it persists then go see you doctor. Or if you're particularly worried then go see your doctor now.

Hope it's something trivial!
