Default Blackburn Fluid Trainer Problems

So I bought this trainer off someone a couple of years ago and I hardly use it. Anybody out there use it and like it? It is the only trainer that I have used but my wheel always slips off of the roller, so I have to get off of the bike to adjust it. Is this common? I know I will not be needing it much now that it is starting to get warm but I about ready to just sell it.
