Default Beadless folding tire removal/installation/fit

tried removing a tube from a beadless folding tire-I found it was very difficult. When I put a larger tube inside- it wouldn't fit Are the beadless tires fit tighter to compensate for the the lack of bead?

If so, is it better to limit there use to travelling emergencies?
