Default FS: MTB wheelset

This is a used Swami (Trek) wheelset with an 8 speed cassette. Rear hub is a
black Shimano LX, front hub is a silver Trek house brand . It says "System
Components" on the hub if that means anything. The hubs are smooth and spin
without defect. The rims are good, but have marks from v-brakes. Still a lot
of wear left in my opinion. This wheelset hasn't been on a bike in at least
3-4 years, so they could need some minor truing after sitting in my attic
all that time. The cassette has noticeable wear, but I was using it last
year, and it worked well. I am just throwing it in so whoever buys the
wheelset won't have to order a cassette right away. No skewers are
included, but I will throw in a set of Ritchey Z-Max tires in pretty good
shape. $50.00 for everything.
This would be a great wheelset to use as a spare, or perhaps to mount some
city tires, so you don't have to wear out the knobbies. These wheels are
being sold "as is". They were used when I got them. I am selling them
because one of my bikes is disc only and the other is a single speed, and I
already have spare wheels for each. If you have questions or would like
pics, please email me. I check it often.
Lower 48 only please; as for shipping, $20.00 should cover it. If it's
significantly less, I will refund the difference.
I can accept paypal, but only if it's funded through a bank account or
paypal balance. I cannot accept paypal thru a credit card.
Money order is fine too.
