is there any where i can watch the giro live on the internet? I wont be able to catch it on my TV this afternoon.

Cycling fans is the best option, although they don't have the normal range of options today. You'll be able to get video from Rai.tv, that starts in about 20 minutes time. You may have to wait a while before the Eurosport audio kicks in as for some reason they think a bunch of muppets flouncing around on a clay court with rackets is more important than the Giro.
