Default Cameron and the H-word

"All that happened is I got on my bicycle, put on a cycle helmet for
once, because I'm always being told to... and something went a bit

Are there any other contexts in which the Leader of the Opposition
could say, "I did it because I was told to" and not be faced with
howls of derision, and calls for his resignation???
