It shifts quick! ;-)

Do you need to shift one nanosecond faster than you are shifting now?
Are you loosing tts and spirnts by the nanoseconds that it may have
taken you to shift gears during events?

If so, you certainly need Quick shift

I got Mirage QS for my son's new bike because he is 8 and I was
worried other systems would require too much actuation force. The QS
is VERY light and easy to shift. I personally like how it only shifts
one cog at a time (it does, right?) too. I have Dura Ace 7800 on my
bike, but I never shift more than one cog at a time for some reason.
If I want to shift more than one cog, I do multiple taps. So for me
the QS would be "cleaner" in a way. Just bang and go.

QS is just the new way the front-shifter works. Perhaps you are
thinking of Campagnolo's new "Escape" shifter mechanism? 2008 Xenon,
Mirage, Veloce and Centaur shifters uses "Escape" shifters, while
Chorus and Record uses the old Ergopower shifter mechanism (the new 11
speed Super Record group probably does too). All the groups uses QS
front shifters.
"Escape" shifters only allow 1 up shift or 3 down shifts at a time,
but allegedly requires less maintenance since it doesn't depends on g-
springs like the Ergo-shifters that requires replacement after some
time.

Everyone says that "Escape" mechanism shifters works great, but some
prefer the way Ergopower shifters work. If you are thinking of buying
Chorus/Record there are no reason not to get a 2008 edition.
