John Schlitter finished Race Across America. 3014 miles, 11 days 2 hours 50 minutes. Only solo bent to enter, his time puts him first of any solo male over 50 (next closest was 11 days 3 hours 19 minutes) and 9th of *all* solo males. There's no info on the age of the solo males not entered in the over 50 category, but I bet they are not just under 50. The fixie team made it. 8 days 4 hours 21 minutes averaging a bit over 15 mph. (Fastest 2 person team was 7 days 2 hours 51 minutes.) http://teamfixedraam2008.blogspot.com/ Zebee |
