We're already taking part at work. However, it seems pretty open to abuse:

Anyone from around the UK can join in, not just people who are cycling in
London (your company may need to have an address in London when you sign
up - I just joined an existing team)
I don't believe anyone checks what you enter. My weekday entries of 20
miles in the morning, 1 in the evening look suspicous but nobody's ever
said anything.
You can include weekend mileages, which for a lot of people won't be
cycling to work!

I think there is a limit on the number of miles you can enter each day
though - I tried to put in 57 for last Sunday morning but it came up with
errors as if to say "nobody can cycle 57 miles before noon". Putting 30
for AM and 27 for PM worked fine though.
