Is there a place to park a car and access the M7 cycleway at the "Lighthorse
Interchange"? I'm coming from the west on the M4. Thanks. |

Has maps. http://www.westlinkm7.com.au/About-Benefits.asp Probably would need to exit and park in local streets (aka non-existent on M4 or M7). |

You could always travel a tad further to the servos/Maccas/etc, park, and ride back to the M7. To go home, take the conveniently located exit, turn right(?), rejoin the M4 and head back to the mountains. Or you could exit and turn before parking at the westbound shops. Don't eat the Maccas unless you want to undo your work... ;^) Of course, the train is a better suggestion from an environmental perspective. Tony F |

You could leave your car on the southern side of the M4 near the LG warehouse. There is quite a network of streets around there in the industrial area and a good access path onto the cycleway near the LG building. This is where the only convenient water point is along the cycelway. The access is a few hundred metres south of the interchange, between the interchange and the Wallgrove Rd overpass. You would need to turn onto Wallgrove Rd from the M4 and park around the Wonderland Drive area. |

Turn right onto Wallgrove Rd off the M4.
On the left, opposite the LG building is the M7 offices. I have parked in there and hit the cycle way on the weekends. Dont know about during the week though. If you ride down the M4 ( be careful crossing the merge lanes) there is an entrance to the cycleway on Wallgrove Rd just after you get off the bridge and clear the southbound merge lane there. If you want to go west off the cycle way and onto the M4 after your ride, there is a gate just north of the M7 offices that goes from the cycleway to the M7. The gate has a childproof lock on it, so be sure to close it. That will take you straight onto the M4 on ramp. Have a good ride Ken "waratah" <bla@zit.ci> wrote in message news:4862210c$1@dnews.tpgi.com.au... > Is there a place to park a car and access the M7 cycleway at the > "Lighthorse Interchange"?
