He admitted having transferred nearly 7,000 euros to Fuentes in 2006. CSC is suspending him "provisionnally". Frank Schleck has deliberately offered to give his DNA - well, very handy right now when Spanish justice is filing case, and nobody will ever touch those blood bags again...

Schleck better get back on the stuff he was on when he won atop alpe d'huez a few years back. He hasn't done much since.

Lance Armstrong’s Last Words, August 10, 2007 - “We're proud of our record. We won eight Tours, a Vuelta, a Giro and other races and not one positive test," Armstrong said. “I’m not sure if there are many other teams who can say that right now. Couple that with our ethical record, despite all the gossip and nonsense that goes on.” |

What is that? 1/100th of what Lance used to pay Ferrari? Sounds like Shrek got a bargain. Or maybe he did not get the good shit like Lance got. |

Not done much since?? You're probably trolling, but WTF? That stage victory was from a break. If he had ridden away from the favourites like Sastre did this year, or Armstrong a few years back, I would hold it in higher regard. But it was just him and Cunego. There are other races than Tour de France, you know, and in my opinion his most impressive results are his four podium placings in the Ardennes Classics since 2006. Very consistent. But back on topic... Yeah, he's in a bit of trouble. The evidence presented in the press release is definately not enough for a two-year ban from the federation. I think his team will suspend him the rest of the year, and he'll be back again for Paris-Nice 2009.

Well, he is now officially suspended by Riis pending the decision of the Luxembourg cycling federation... http://www.riis-cycling.com/ny_news.asp?n_id=2147

He'll probably not miss a single race because of this. Everything is forgotten and forgiven before the season kicks in next year and we'll have Schleck back in business.
