I posted this in another section, but received no response. Does anyone know what the HEW means on the uniforms of German cyclists?? I've always wondered..........

Hamburgische Electricitats-Werke
HEW is pretty much the biggest supporter and promoter of cycling in Germany. HEW-Cyclassics is one of the ten World Cup races, held on the first weekend in August. I'm guessing that race is supported mostly by -- wait for it, now -- HEW. |
