I just bought a Marin Palisades Trail 2003. It has Deore componentry right throughout, 7005 Alloy Frame, and Six Sport Shocks.
It's a 'Mid-Range' Bike over here, and in NZ because of import duties and GST bikes are so much more expensive, hence the bike was worth $1800 NZ ($900 US) I got it for a cheaper price as part of a clearance deal, however I want to know if anyone else has used this bike? What did you think? Is it a good (wise) purchase? How much abuse can a bike like that handle? I'll be doing some XC and Single Track but also alot of Road Riding as well. Any upgrade suggestions? Thanks. |
