I have a BX-617 speedometer.
I installed it on a new bike. The tires are marked 700 x 38C. The manual does not provide settings for this size tire. Has anyone had any luck setting this speedometer for 700 x 38C tires? If so, what setting worked for you? Thanks, |

Well, by trial and error I determined that the setting for a 700 X 38C size tire on the BX-617 Speedometer is 136. Hope this helps anyone with the same predicament. Good riding.

Hi miseman -
I have a BX-617 speedometer also but can't find my manual. Do you know the settings/procedure for setting it up for a 26" tire? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! Quote:

According to the manual, the settings for a 26" tire are as follows: 127 - for miles per hour 204 - for kilometers per hour I hope this helps, and good cycling. |
