so essentially syrium

it had me buggered for a while too but thats the way everyone in sydney pronounces it

now how about ciocc?

Ciöcc is not an Italian word, it's Bergamo so some different pronunciation rules apply. It's CHOACH like CHapter +rOACH. I read that in an article about the original owner of the company - Ciöcc was a nickname for his Dad.
